Workshop

In groups of 3, share the following about your final argument. Groups offer feedback and advice.

  1. What’s your main claim? (what sort of claim is it? conjecture, definition, quality/value, policy, or objection?)
  2. Who is your audience? Given that audience, what would be an appropriate and effective forum?
  3. What is your purpose? (what do you want your argument to do? What do you want your audience to think or do?)
  4. What sort of evidence and appeals will you use to back up your claim?

When you finish workshopping each other’s ideas, use the rest of the time to work on your argument.
