However<br \/>\nit was still thoroughly enjoyable.\u00a0<br \/>\nOn Friday I flew out to Vancouver in Canada to visit my brother up in<br \/>\nWhistler. This was very exciting for me as I haven\u2019t seen him since August 21<sup>st<\/sup><br \/>\nand we are very close. <\/p>\n<p>My lack of smart phone made it a little more challenging to<br \/>\naccomplish parts of media week, such as the Instagram posts. Usually I\u2019m not<br \/>\nbig on posting on social media but I actually found it very enjoyable documenting<br \/>\none of our days together. <\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m not really one to take photos of things I encounter and<br \/>\nrarely comment on beautiful scenery. Personally I think that your minds eye has<br \/>\nthe best recollection. However I found that over the week I spent in the<br \/>\nbeautiful mountains of Whistler and Backcomb, I found myself taking in my<br \/>\nsurroundings a lot and appreciating the beautiful place I was lucky enough to<br \/>\nbe. I thought to myself more than once, \u201cOooohh, this would make a lovely<br \/>\npicture\u201d, which is very unlike me. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I think it is very nice capturing moments in our lives that<br \/>\nwe have enjoyed so can relive them in the future. I think the creation of<br \/>\nstories and memories is very important and social media gives us this ability.<br \/>\nIt also allows us to voice our opinions on topical matters and makes it much<br \/>\neasier for lesser voices to be heard.
