So thanks Brittany for helping me come up with my blog post idea.<\/p>\n<p>Breakup songs are the BEST. When you\u2019re in the \u201ccupcake\u201d phase of love, usually those songs listed in Brittany\u2019s article below are the ones that have been put on repeat on your iPod. But just as fast as something so beautiful as love can come together, it can fall apart just as fast. And who doesn\u2019t like to blast a mad, revengeful breakup song when they have just been dumped? I know I do!<\/p>\n<p>So here\u2019s my favorite country break-up songs:<\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_GXJpvu-d_0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How can anyone make a playlist about any country song and not put a George Strait song? This song was written about a divorce and all the harsh feelings and emotions that follow a divorce. In the song, they\u2019re deciding who\u2019s going to take what and how the money is going to be divided and both parties are just so nonchalant and don\u2019t want any memories of the other person, hinting the break up was ugly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe title=\"Toby Keith - How Do You Like Me Now?!\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3umaLe37-LE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow do You Like me Now?\u201d by Toby Keith<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A classic Toby Keith song. This music video is quite comical and I have personally loved this song since it came out. This song is about a guy who wanted this girl in high school but she wasn\u2019t interested and then 20 years later he hits her up and shows her what she could\u2019ve been. He keeps making references to how he\u2019s on the radio and in her ear and she cant get rid of him because he\u2019s so famous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe title=\"Jo Dee Messina - Bye Bye (Official Music Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/iVoKkdVNSvo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cBye Bye\u201d by Jo Dee Messina<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This song is a little older also. It\u2019s about the narrator and her boyfriend who can\u2019t make up his mind on what he wants with her. So she \u201cgot a lead foot down on my accelerator\u201d,\u201d I ain\u2019t ever lookin back, and that\u2019s a fact\u201d. She doesn\u2019t need his indecisiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe title=\"Dierks Bentley - How Am I Doin\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9Rb4RTOST1g?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow Am I Doin\u201d by Dierks Bentley<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I swear Dierks Bentley\u2019s songs never disappoint me. This song is about an old girlfriend calling her ex and asking how he\u2019s been. After she asks \u201chow am I holdin up since you did me wrong,\u201d he goes on to explain to her how amazing his life has been. All the things she held him back from doing , he says \u201cwait one minute, I failed to mention, those tears I cried are tears of joy\u201d and then goes on to tell her all the things hes enjoying in his life that she never gave him.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Whatever your need or situation after a breakup, there is a country song for every mood and feeling.
