The Country Music Project gave me an opportunity to do a little exploring and research, and I was fascinated to discover what this great city has to offer. First, I was able to enjoy a country music show from a third generation member of the Carter Family, Carlene Carter. Next, I took a trip to the most famous honky-tonk in Texas, the historic Broken Spoke.
