In groups of 3-4, prepare a 5-minute presentation designed to teach the class the most significant take-aways about Brennan (groups 1, 3, 5, and 7) or Ahmed (groups 2, 4, and 6). In your presentation, you\u2019ll want to do two things:<\/p>\n

  1. Explain to the class how, according to Rice, your assigned author conceives of the role of \u201caffect\u201d in social (rhetorical) relations, and<\/li>\n
  2. what you consider the most significant implications of this author\u2019s approach: what does it expose or open up for you that you hadn\u2019t thought of before?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
