On the advertisement we can see that it has a green background. It announces the new 2016 Volvo xc90. The vehicles new premium wheels which add a sporty edge. There is a picture of the Volvo driving by the woods on a secluded curved road. The nature in the forest is very vast and the river behind is a nice crystal blue.

This advertisement speaks to the people who like to camp. They go on dirt road rides to their beautiful destinations deep in the woods. When they look for a car they want a car that can take the damage of a bumpy dirt road with sticks and shrubs all in the way, and still be able to enjoy the comfortably of the inside.

In this advertisement it advertises the wheels which are nice for off road rides. They relate to the people who like to camp because when you go camping you have to go off the road and into the wilderness to find the beauty of nature. The car also has a navigation system that will help campers find their camp destinations.

In conclusion, the author tries to convey that the new Volvo will be great for people who love to camp. This is shown by the evidence that say that the wheels are good for dirt road rides and also, the cars navigation system that can help you get to your camp destinations. The reader can also tell that has a nature appeal because of the Volvo on the curved road by the forest and the green color on the paper, which also reaches out to people who like to camp.

  2. In this ad, I can definitely see you trying to reach out to people who like to campus and thus presumably like nature. The color green is a big cue since we’re wired to see that as some kind of representative of the environment. Like Kevin, I agree that you’re highlighting some of the car’s most relevant features — the wheels, the navigation, etc. Why did you decide to put the car in a circle? I don’t see many ads doing that.
