Your advertisement look like you are selling to a audience who love using iphone or apple’s product. Would the image of the radio screen in the car represent the small app icons that the apple product lover uses. Good job on keeping it simple and fresh.

  2. This ad is short, simple, and to the point. There’s a picture of the “Hello” that you first see when you turn an iPhone on for the first time, a picture of the touch screen dash with Apple’s CarPlay, and a picture of the 2016 Volvo XC90.

The audience seems to be someone very interested in technology, more specifically an Apple fanatic. This is indicated by the “Hello” message that appears on every new iPhone that comes out and also indicated by showing us the new dash with Apple’s CarPlay which already has apps installed in the car once you turn it on.

Considering that this advertisement is very minimalist and simplistic, all three images are salient because there is barely any words portrayed.

The context that this appeals to an Apple fan can also be hinted by the minimalistic and simplistic nature of the advertisement. Apple has always been a company that focused on those two features, while still remaining very sophisticated and sleek. Just like the iPhone is simple, yet elegant, so is the new Volvo XC90.

  3. I agree with Kathy and Anthony that the color scheme and simplicity of this ad would remind viewers of Apple products. Maybe the ad would look more cohesive if the “Hello” came at the top, and the description of the car came in smaller print somewhere lower? This is a small “complaint.”

I agree with the other commenters on how you did a good job with the simplicity! I get the Apple vibe just as much. Thinking deeper into it though, its crazy to think of how advance technology is getting, that now we can access in the dashboards of our can. Anyway, just a thought.
