Erin, thanks for this post. I agree that your experiences are varied — but then, so is country music! Something I have found interesting about your remarks about Austin being known for its musical scene is that a lot of the people it books are NON-Texans like Eric Church. Such a paradox that it’s all the people from out of town that make Austin feel local and unique.
