They’re going to catch up, I thought to myself. There’s just no way we can keep this 17-point lead! As Notre Dame scored on their next two drives to cut our lead to three, receiver Josh Adams then put the Irish up 35-31. Crap. I jinxed it. Jaws dropped as the Irish blocked our extra point attempt, bringing the game into overtime. In the offensive battle over the victory, the sea of burnt orange grew louder and louder. As my pulse raced and sweat dripped down my back, it felt like I was on the battleground with the players. We’re going to win this. TEXAS. FIGHT. TEXAS. FIGHT. One of my top memories of college thus far has to be when Swoopes scrambled from the six-yard line to drive in the final touchdown of the game. I will never forget at that moment how proud it felt to be a Longhorn. I couldn’t wait to brag on and on to my friends and family. The crowd of 102,315 set off a raucous celebration as I felt joyous tears run down my face. Wanna cry too? Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrX5QyLM3gM&sns=fb&app=desktop
What a way to start off being the media curator of the week! As one of the first curators, I wasn’t quite sure what posting was going to be like. However, taking advantage of the football game and other campus events made the job not only simple, but also very enjoyable! I would recommend to the upcoming curators to take advantage of this week and express yourself through your posts. I love sports, music, food, my dogs, the ocean, and I’m pretty sure I made that clear through Twitter/Instagram/Spotify. I had a blast and wouldn’t mind running our social media again! …until next time… *mic drop*
OH AND ALSO KANYE 2020 (but only if he divorces Kim Kardashian… but that’s another story).
