In groups of 3-4, prepare a 5-minute presentation designed to teach the class the most significant take-aways about Brennan (groups 1, 3, 5, and 7) or Ahmed (groups 2, 4, and 6). In your presentation, you’ll want to do two things:

1. Explain to the class how, according to Rice, your assigned author conceives of the role of “affect” in social (rhetorical) relations, and
2. what you consider the most significant implications of this author’s approach: what does it expose or open up for you that you hadn’t thought of before?

Present your 5-minute lessons to the class.
